Beulah Lankford Hopkins age 91 of Axton, died Saturday May 7, 2011 in Martinsville.

She was born May 22, 1919 in Stokes County, NC to the late Willie Nick and Mickey Katherine Ashby Lankford.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband George E. Hopkins, 3 brothers, Will, Troy, and John H. Lankford, and 7 sisters, Nina Agee, Belle Agee, Bernice Cagle, Betty Jordan, Virginia Barbour, Bessie Lankford, and Alice Lankford.

She is survived by her son, Robert Hopkins of Martinsville, her daughter, Cindy Grogan of Martinsville, one sister, Earleen L. Lawless of Martinsville, five grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.

The funeral service will be Tuesday May 10, 2011 at 1:00 PM in the Roselawn Chapel. Interment will follow in Roselawn Burial Park. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the funeral in the Roselawn Chapel. Arrangements are by Roselawn Chapel Funeral Home.
