Monday, January 19, 2015 at Unionville Cemetery, Dubach, LA under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Ruston. Dr. Michael Hawley will officiate the service. Visitation will be 5:00 – 7:00 P.M. Sunday, January 18, 2015 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Ruston, LA.
Mrs. Jones was born in Hilly, LA on March 1, 1935 and passed away on Saturday, January 17, 2015 in Ruston, LA. She was a rural Mail Carrier for 30 years and a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church. Malda is preceded in death by her parents, Robert Shelton and Bertha Larance; brother, L. C. Larance; sisters, Margarite Larance and Maureen Larance Kinnebrew.
She is survived by her husband Bill Jones; son, Billy Jones and wife Deborah of Ruston, LA; daughters, Dianne Murphy and husband Rick of Conroe, TX and Susan Roberts and husband Jeff of Hilly; grandchildren, Ashley Jones Davis and husband, Dusty, Chance Roberts, Samantha Roberts, Dakota Murphy and wife Rachel; great grandson, Colt Davis; Special dog – Mitzi; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
