Published online by Owens Memorial Chapel Funeral Home, Ruston, Louisiana.Nettie Larance Hodge was the 8th child born to James and Carrie Flowers Larence. She was the most amazing mother and Granny anyone could ever ask for. She had 3 children...2 sons and 1 daughter. Granny worked as a CNA and private sitter for many years. She also babysat, cleaned houses, laundry and ironing for people. This woman was more than my Granny...she was a mother, a confidant and best friend to me and my husband and our 3 sons. The world became a dimmer place the day God called her home.
