On November 21, 1934, she married John Paul Brown in the Salt Lake Temple. That union produced a daughter, Grace Anne; a son, David Paul; and two more sons who did not survive.
A member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, June served as a primary teacher, teacher trainer on a Primary Stake board, a teacher in the M.I.A. and on the Mutual Stake Board, a Relief Society Visiting Teacher, and a ward Relief Society President. She and Paul served two stake missions.
He passed away on December 3, 1994 and June was preceded in death by both her parents, brother, James Stewart Larsen; and sister, Mary Evelyn Larsen Moore.
In 1998, June volunteered as a Stake Missionary in the Member Locator department for the Church.
Making quilts and giving them to family, friends, and the needy gave her a great pleasure as did presenting book reviews. She was a welcoming friend to people from all over the world.

Reeves (Delbert); son, David Paul Brown (Patty); and seven granddaughters, Kris Bentley (Steve), Shelly Locke (Brian), Katy Hayes, Joylynne Brown, Amy Petersen (Rob), Jennifer Simpson (Lorin), and Eden Morgan (Darby).
