Betty Jane Laudig, 83 of Fishers passed away Sunday, March 20, 2011 at her residence. Born Sept. 20, 1927 in Oaklandon, Ind., she was the daughter of William and Mable Alexander.

She married William C. Laudig on Aug. 6, 1948. He preceded her in death in 1995.

She worked for Curtis Dyna Products for 30 years, before retiring in 1993. She was baptized at Oaklandon Christian Church in 1941 and graduated from Lawrence Central High School in 1945.

She line danced with the Silver Liners and Sheridan Shufflers Dance Clubs, also she square danced in Indiana and Florida. She was a member of GWRRA Motorcycle Club.

Survivors include her son, Mike (Cheryl) Laudig of Noblesville; daughters, Cindy Owens of Noblesville and Debbie (David) Freedinger of Cicero; four granddaughters and one grandson; two great granddaughters and one great grandson; and sister, Jean Morris of Oaklandon.

Visitation is 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan St. in Noblesville. Funeral service is 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens.
