Betty Million Lee was born on November 23, 1930 in Rio Grande City, Texas to Fannie Vale Million.

Betty grew up in Laredo, Texas with three younger siblings: Frank Mull, Rose Million Nelson and Judy Million Jensen.

Betty graduated from Ursuline Academy in Laredo. She then received her degree as a Registered Nurse from St. Joseph Nursing School in Houston, Texas. She was pouring coffee when she heard the tinkling of the piano and told her girlfriends that she was going to marry a man that can play a piano. Six months later she married that man, the love of her life, Lieutenant Petter B. Lee while he was stationed at Laredo Air Force Base. The couple married on August 31, 1953. Almost 62 years, and many moves later, Betty and Petter were blessed with 5 children, 10 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren.

Being an Air Force wife fostered a love of travel for Betty. She, Petter and the kids traveled from one end of the country to the other, seeing many of our nations beautiful sights.

Betty had many favored hobbies such as game night, knitting, sewing, and ceramics. She was also an avid reader who shared her passion for books; if friends ever needed a book, they would find it on Betty's Book Shelf. But her most treasured past time was cross-stitch, a skill she handed down to each of her grandchildren. Over the years, many loved ones have received gifts made by her loving hands.

Betty was preceded in death by her mother Fannie V. Million, daughter Janet E. Lee, brother Frank Mull, and sister Rose Nelson.

Betty is survived by her beloved husband and soul mate Petter B. Lee; son David and his wife Carla Lee and their family, Brayton and Erin Lee, Travis and Jaclyn Ponder, Landon and Kinsley Ponder, and Rachel Ponder; daughter Deborah and her husband Randy Rehmann and their family, Ryan and Amanda Rehmann, Hunter and Annabelle, Daniel and Holly Bazan and Gabriel, Aaron Rehmann and Adam Rehmann; son James and his wife Janet Lee and their family, Allison Lee, Hannah Lee and fiancé Galen Miller, and Megan Lee; daughter Barbara Jean and her husband Robert Barbour; sister Judy and husband Don Jensen.

The visitation will be held on Monday, May 18th from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at Colonial Funeral Home in Universal City, Texas to include a rosary from 7:00pm to 7:30pm.
The funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, May 19th at 9:00am at The Church of the Good Shepherd in Schertz, Texas. The internment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio, Texas.
A family reception will be held at The Church of the Good a Shepherd following the internment.
