OBITUARY : MRS. SYLVIANE THERESE-PAULE (LeJEUNE) BAUGH, 62, of 15356 Skyline Drive, Stateline, PA died at 11:27 A.M., Friday February 4, 2011 in her home.
Born October 11, 1948 in Brettevill, France, she was the daughter of the late Ernest Amand and Madame Marie Louise (Leboulandger) LeJune.
She and her husband, Mack Edward Baugh, were married on July 21, 1966 in Idar-Oberstein, Germany. Following their marriage she traveled with her husband while he served in the U.S. Army to bases in California, Texas and Fort Ritchie, MD. They lived at their current residence since 1997. Mr. Baugh died on October 31, 2009.
Mrs. Baugh became a naturalized citizen in 1976. She worked at the NCO and Officers Club on Fort Ritchie from 1980-1990. Following that she assisted her husband in operating their furniture business, which was located in Waynesboro, Chambersburg and Greencastle.
In her younger years she was an avid bowler and played in the Sunshine Lanes League, during which time she bowled a perfect game of 300. She enjoyed scratch off tickets, BINGO and trips with friends to the casino. She also enjoyed playing the organ, painting, drawing, puzzles, playing games and talking with family and friends over the internet. She was known by her friends as a prankster and enjoyed time spent with her grandchildren.
She is survived by a daughter: Teanne Marie McDonald, Long Island, NY; two sons: Tony Curtis Baugh, Greencastle, Mack Edward Michael Baugh, Washington, D.C.; five grandchildren: Denise Baugh, Philipsburg, PA, Jessica Baugh, Cheltenham, MD, Jasmine McDonald, Long Island, NY, Courtney "CJ" McDonald, Long Island, NY, Curtis Baugh, Grassflat, PA; three sisters: Jacqueline Leboulandger, Josiane Leboulandger, Gisele Lefrancois, all of France; two brothers: Marcel Lefrancois, Daniel Lefrancois, all of France; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by her son Edward Daniel Baugh.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, February 12, 2011 in Miller-Bowersox Funeral Home, 521 S. Washington Street, Greencastle with Rev. Dr. Kendrick E. Curry officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Greencastle.
Family will receive friends from 9:30 A.M. until the time of service Saturday, in the funeral home.
