LAFAYETTE – A Memorial Mass will be held on Tuesday, August 16, 2011, at 11:00 AM in La Chapelle de Martin & Castille in Lafayette, for Anna L. Peck, former Anna L. Johnson, 67, who died on Thursday, August 11, 2011 in Lafayette.
Reverend Steve C. LeBlanc, Pastor of St. Pius X Catholic Church in Lafayette, will be the Celebrant of the Memorial Mass.
Giftbearers will be Randi and Rachell Johnson. Lectors will be Damien Jackson, Victoria Boyd and Janice Trahan. Jillian R. Jackson, vocalist, will sing "Panis Angelicus" for the service.
Survivors include her two daughters, Connie L. Boyd of Pasadena, Calif. and Penny J. Beasley and her husband Gerald of Lafayette; two sons, Brent Johnson and his wife Vickie of Eunice and Tony Johnson of Lafayette; five grandchildren, Jeremy Johnson, Randi Johnson, Rachell Johnson, Victoria Boyd and Eli Beasley; one sister, Janice Trahan and her husband Rodney of Rayne; and one brother, Kermit LeJeune and his wife Nita of Eunice.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Felix and Eura LeJeune; one sister, Ramona L. Jackson; and one granddaughter, Charley Rose Beasley.
A native of Eunice and a resident of Lafayette for 25 years, Anna was owner of the former Acadiana School of Cosmetology. She was an active volunteer with the Miles Perret Cancer Center.
The family requests that visitation be observed in Martin & Castille's DOWNTOWN Lafayette location on Tuesday, August 16, 2011 from 10:00 AM until time of service.
A Rosary will be prayed on Tuesday at 10:30 AM in Martin & Castille Funeral Home.
