Mrs. Amelia LeJeune Cart, 65 wife of Jack Cart of Iota, died at 1:30 p.m. Sunday. Funeral services will be held at 9a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph Catholic Churchin Iota with the Rev. Alan Broussard conducting the services.

A native of Iota, Mrs. Cart lived there all her life. She and her husband were married in Iota in 1903.

Surviving besides her husband are five sons; Gaston, Dudley, Velton,Francis, and Allen Cart all of Iota; two daughters, Mrs Lynn ( Allen ) LeJeune and Mrs. Mamie Simar also of Iota; and twenty grandchildren also survives.

She was a member of the Ladies Altar Society of Iota and the members of that organization are requested to attend the services with their badges.
Servicing as pallbearers were Gaston, Dudley, Frances, Velton, and Allen Cart and Lynn LeJeune and son- in- law of the deceased.
