SHREVEPORT, LA- With family at her bedside, Elvie Marie Bison passed away Saturday evening, March 29, 2008, at Christus Schumpert Hospital in Shreveport. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, April 2, 2008, at Forest Park Cemetery-West. Visitation will be Tuesday from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM as well as one hour prior to the service on Wednesday at Forest Park Funeral Home, 1201 Louisiana Ave.
Mrs. Bison was born on May 23, 1921, to Gertrude "Castie" and Joseph Leone.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers Hobert, Emmett, Joseph B. and Fred Leone.
She is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, Albert Bison; son, Bubba Bison and wife, Karen; daughter, Rachel Hinson and fiance', Bruce Kerry; grandsons, David Bison and Jeremy Hinson and great-grandchildren, Hannah Marie Bison and Cameron Hinson.
Pallbearers will be Bobby Moore, Chris Purkey, Eric Matranga, Mark Fields, Ray Martin and Terry Ramey.
