SOUTH BEND - Virginia Kenna, 97, passed away Saturday, October 4, 2014, in Akron, Ohio. Virginia was born in South Bend, Indiana, to the late Matthew and Blanch Lewinski.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William, and brother, James Lewinski.

She is survived by daughter, Jill (Robert) Burnstine; granddaughter, Randi (Lee) Scherr; great- granddaughters, Kenna and Marlo Scherr; and sister, Violet Rydzynski.

We will all miss her strong spirit and sense of humor.
