She was born July 22, 1962, in Springfield, the daughter of William and Helen Rowe Lewis.
Mrs. Countryman was an administrative assistant for 23 years at the Social Security office.
Survivors: a daughter, Sara Countryman of Springfield; a brother, Bill Lewis of Springfield; an aunt; an uncle; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
