Mrs. Gertrude L. Becker, 82, of 1741 Lowell Ave., died Saturday in a Sarasota Hospital, Sarasota, Fla.
She was born in Adams County, the daughter of D.C. and Lizzie Luella Beckett Lewis and had been a resident of Springfield for 53 years.
Her husband, Clarence, died in 1951 [sic].
Mrs. Becker was a member of the First Christian Church, Flower City Chapter of the OES and Daughters of the Nile.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. George J. Brownell of Springfield; and one sister, Mrs. Fred Bartel of Springfield.
Services will be at Smith Funeral Chapel.
Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
