Mrs. Harris was a homemaker; and after the passing of her husband became a childcare provider in her home which afforded her with many enjoyable years; becoming "Grandma" to numerous families. Mildred was a member of the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception.
Survivors: Two sons, Robert E. of Saugatuck, MI, and Donald L. (wife, Terry) of Springfield; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two sisters: Dorothy Leadill of Jacksonville, IL, and Lottie Kerar of Springfield; and two brother-in-laws: Joe Sullivan of Cottontown, TN, and Jim Simpson of Springfield.
