She was born Feb. 11, 1907, in Morgan County, Ky., a daughter of Henry and Lucy Combs Lewis. She married Henry M. Adams in 1924; he died in 1989.
Survivors include two sons, Jesse Woodrow Adams of Robertsdale, Ala., and Gordon Adams of Tuscola; five daughters, Delora Woodfall and Nancy Fritz, both of Charleston, Lois Reeves of Tuscola, Fannie May Abney of Danville and Mary Burris of Kalamazoo, Mich.; one sister, Mary Hitt of Tuscola; 14 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Four brothers, two sisters and one grandchild also preceded her in death.
Mrs. Adams was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
