Emily (Cook) Arnold was the daughter of Henry and Elizabeth "Betsey" (Buell) Cook. She was the wife of Rev. Dr. Josiah Ward Arnold. He was a minister in the Black River Conference and East Genesee Conference of the Methodist Episcopal Church. Rev. Dr. Arnold died November 9, 1902.
