WESTBOROUGH, Mass. -- Margaret R. Darlow, 93, of Westborough, died Friday, April 17, 2009, at the Beaumont Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center. She was the wife of the late William G. Darlow, who died in 1988.
Born in Westborough, she was the daughter of the late Wilfred H. and Edna W. (Squire) Libbey. She was a graduate of Westborough High School in 1933 and was a graduate of Colby College in Waterville, Maine, in 1937.
Mrs. Darlow was a homemaker dedicated to her home and family.
She had been a resident of China, Maine, from 1976 to 1999, returning to Northborough and then to Westborough. She was a member of China Baptist Church while residing in Maine and was a member of First Baptist Church in Westborough.
She is survived by one daughter, Ruth M. Hrenko of Rehoboth; and three sons, Richard W. Darlow of Worcester, Peter G. Darlow of Acton and Paul W. Darlow of Worcester. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She was the mother of the late Robert C. Darlow and sister of the late William Libbey, Robert Libbey, Eleanor Libbey and Helen Libbey.
Her funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 22, at Rand-Harper-Pickering Westborough Funeral Home, 62 West Main St., Westborough. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery. A calling hour will be 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday, prior to the service.
