Research historian and musician. Daughter of the Rev Dr and Mrs C Arthur Lincoln. Graduate of Daytona High School. Earned a BA in English, History and a Certificate in Music from Randolph-Macon College. Married Merwin Whitcomb Kaye in 1953 and had three children.

Member of the St. Paul's Episcopal Church choir for fifty years. Member of the General Society of Mayflower Descendants, National Genealogical Society, the Alexandria Historical Society, and the National Trust for Historic Preservation. 2010 Alexandria Historian of the year. Author of the two-volume History of St. Paul's Episcopal Church.

The funeral service took place at St. Paul's Episcopal Church on May 10, 2014.
