Clara Brizendine Lincoln, 83, of Roanoke, passed away Tuesday, August 1, 1995.

She was retired from the Roanoke Garment Company.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Lemmer Brizendine; five brothers, Arnold Brizendine, Mack Brizendine, Frank Brizendine, Odell Brizendine and Ira Brizendine; son-in-law, Fred Manning.

Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Henry and Helen Paxton; a daughter, Peggy Manning, all of Roanoke; four granddaughters, Debbie Manning, Lynchburg, Janet Kumpf and husband Michael, New Cumberland, Penn., Kathy Bandy and husband David, Missy Paxton, all of Roanoke; a great-grandson, James Day, New Cumberland, Penn.; two brothers, Carl Brizendine, Roanoke, Bernell Brizendine, Salem.

Funeral services will be at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel, 1:30 p.m. Friday with Minister Derry Gray officiating. Interment will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel, from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday.
