He was born Oct. 12, 1917, in Pennsylvania and was a son of the late Ernest E. Lincoln and Kathleen Zirkle.
Mr. Lincoln was a member of the Church of Christ of Woodbridge. He was former owner of Lincoln Hardware store in Woodbridge from 1952 to 1969.
Surviving are his wife, Louise P. Lincoln; a son, Ernest E. Lincoln III of Harrisonburg; two stepsons, Frank Phelps of Occoquan and Edward Phelps of Springfield; a sister, Ellen Culton of Sebring, Fla.; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
The Revs. Wilson Wallace and Gene Chumley conducted a funeral at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Mountcastle Funeral Home in Woodbridge. Burial was in Fairfax Memorial Park.
