Maylyn (Lindberg) Gilbo, 83, of Minnetonka, MN, passed away Tuesday, August 3, 2010.

God missed one of his angels and decided to call her back home.

Maylyn "Lynne" was born in Hibbing. She was a gentle loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend who loved being with her family, gardening and trips to the Arboretum.

She is survived by husband of 61 years, Claude W. (S SGT US Army Air Force); children, Brad (Nancy) and Susan; grandsons, Chris and Julian; and brother, Dale (Elinor). She was preceded in death by parents, Carl and Florence Lindberg, and brother, Donn.
Funeral: Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, August 6, at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 13505 Excelsior Blvd in Minnetonka.

Visitation: Will be held from 5 to 7 PM Thursday, August 5, at Washburn-McReavy Strobeck-Johnson Chapel, 1400 Main Street in Hopkins, MN, and for one hour prior to the Mass on Friday at the church.

Private interment will be at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.

Arrangements are with the Washburn-McReavy Strobeck-Johnson Chapel of Hopkins, MN.
