Lillian was the daughter of John William Lindberg and Jeannette Larsdotter Tilberg.

She had five siblings: Ethel, Melvin Lawrence, Carl Reuben, Gladys Irene, and Luella Irene.

Lillian married Iver Alfred Beckstrand on August 21, 1924.

They were the parents of eight children: Fern Joyce, Duane Clayton, Roger Warren, Van Allen, Carroll Delano, Audrey Joan, Sheldon Gene, and Melva Lynette.

Mrs. Iver (Lil) Beckstrand of Eddy Township passed away Wednesday June 25 at the Clearwater County Memorial Hospital in Bagley. She was born November 14, 1905.
Funeral services will be held Friday June 27 at 11:00 a.m. at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church with Pastor Paul Knutson officiating.
Arrangements are with the Cease Funeral Home of Bagley.

Lillian Beckstrand, 74, a resident of rural Clearbrook passed away Tuesday, June 24 at the Clearwater Memorial Hospital in Bagley.
Mrs. Beckstrand was born November 14, 1905 near Karlstad, Minnesota to parents, William and Jeanette Lindberg. She came to Clearwater County in 1916 settling in Eddy Township. She was united in marriage to Iver Beckstrand on August 21, 1924 at Bagley. Lillian was a member of the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church of Clearbrook.
Survivors include her husband, Iver; three daughters, Mrs. Harvey (Fern) Churness of Two Harbors, Mrs. Calvin (Audrey) Peterson of Coon Rapids, Mrs. George (Melva) Patten of Hopkins; four sons, Duane of Clearbrook, Roger of Bemidji, Van of Gonvick; Sheldon of Circle Pines; one sister, Louella Holte of Corvallis, Oregon; one brother, Melvin Lindberg of Clearbrook; 30 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one son Caroll, two sisters, one brother, one grandson, one grand daughter.
Funeral services for Mrs. Beckstrand were held Friday, June 27, at 11:00 at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Clearbrook with Intern Jim Proper officiating. Burial took place at the oak Park Lutheran Cemetery rural Clearbrook under the direction of the Cease Funeral Home.
