Warrenton resident, 56

Vickie Louise Baer, 56, of Warrenton, died Friday, Aug. 28, 2009, in Astoria, of cancer.

She was born Feb. 2, 1953, in Vancouver, Wash., to Robert Lindstrom and Virginia Burgess Coates. Her mother survives, residing in Eugene.

She was raised in Portland and Eugene and attended high school in Eugene.

Ms. Baer was a homemaker. She worked at the Real Wood Products Mill in Eugene for several years before moving to Warrenton in 1991.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by a daughter, Sandy Cummings of Eugene; a son, Dale Doggett of Tigard; a brother, Steve Lindstrom of Warrenton; and two sisters, Connie Hill and Terre Allenby of Eugene.

Ms. Baer requested that no formal public service will he held.

Private cremation arrangements were handled by Ocean View Cremation & Burial Service of Astoria.
