Carolyn Lindstrom Anderson age 79 went to be with her Lord and Savior on May 30th 2012 as a result of a pulmonary embolism. She died peacefully surrounded by her family at Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC.

Carolyn Adele Lindstrom was born January 28th 1933 in Winter Haven, FL. She graduated from Landon High School, was the head of the Lionettes and crowned Queen Uliela during the 1950 Gator Bowl in Jacksonville, FL.

Carolyn was a faithful member of the Daughter of The King at Church of the Redeemer Episcopal Church in Sarasota, FL. She loved spending time with her family and friends while enjoying the summer months at her mountain home in Franklin, NC. Her family will miss her wry humor, her generosity, her ability to entertain effortlessly with style and her deep love and devotion for her family.

She was predeceased by her husband of 30 years Norman F. Anderson. She is survived by her sister Velda Lindstrom Turner of Sarasota, son Charles David Clark of Bradenton, son Gary Randell Clark (Julie) of Myakka City and daughter Karen Clark Roske (Brian) of Jacksonville. Her grandchildren include Chad Thomas Cox, Lindsey Ann Caruso (Paul), Joshua David Clark, Brittany Nicole Roske, Melissa Sue Clark and Cole Clark Roske as well as five great grandchildren.

The Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, June 16th at 11:30 am at Church of the Redeemer in Sarasota, FL. There will be a reception for the family and friends held immediately after the service in the Parrish Hall.
