Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at the Fred C. Olson mortuary for Mrs. Matilda Lindstrom Ekblade, 72, wife of Gust Ekblade and a Rockford resident for 30 years who died early yesterday at her home, 1526 South 4th street, following a lingering illness. The Rev. Helge Johnson will officiate. Burial will be in the Scandinavian cemetery.
Mrs. Ekblade was born in Westotland, Sweden, Feb. 20, 1863. She was a member of the Swedish Missio tabernacle.
Surviving besides the husband, are a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Carter, Rockford, a sister, Mrs. A. Carlson, Chicago, and two granddaughters, June and Martha Carter.
