Sadie Linkous Huff, 80, of Blacksburg, went to meet her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, May 14, 2008. The daughter of the late Alex and Myrtle Linkous, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles D. Huff Jr.; and all her brothers and sisters. She is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Connie Huff Flora, Vanessa and Bobby Medley, and Pam and Jesse Cantrell, all of Blacksburg; grandchildren, Tammie Lawson and husband, Terry, Scott Medley, Brian Mills and wife, Cindy, Jason Mills Jr. Flora and wife, Beth; greatgrandchildren, Amber and Austin Flora, Hunter and Derek Lawson, and Clarissa and Caleb Mills; her in-laws, Clara Shepherd, Maudie Ramsey, Agnes Huff, Charlene Keene, Sam Huff, Boyd Huff and wife, Connie, Treva Huff, Laura Huff Williams and husband, Charlie, Bill Huff and Ab Huff and wife, Mary; special nieces and nephew, Clarmont Yates, Diane Huff, Frank Graves, Ann Light and Sharon Huff. The family would like to express a very special thank you to Blacksburg Rescue Squad, Montgomery Regional Hospital and their staff. The family will receive friends from 5 until 8 p.m. on Friday evening, May 16, 2008, at the Horne Funeral Home, Christiansburg. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 17, 2008, at the Merrimac Pentecostal Holiness Church conducted by the Rev. Jerry Sloss and the Rev. Glennard Quesenberry with interment to follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. The Huff family is being served by Horne Funeral Service, Christiansburg, Va., 540-382-2612.
