Pauline Linkous Hutchison, 80, of Blacksburg, Va., left this life on earth to be in the arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, August 26, 2009, at New River Valley Medical Center. She was born in Montgomery County, Va., on October 19, 1928, to the late Kurg and Willie May Sheppard Linkous. She was a member of the East Radford Church of God. She leaves behind her loving husband of 57 years, Anderson Hutchison, of Blacksburg; daughters and sons-in-law, Vickie and Larry Moore, of Christiansburg, and Karen and Mike Still, of Pulaski; son and daughter-in-law, Timmy and Faun Hutchison, of Pulaski; sister and brother-inlaw, Claramont and Raymond Sheppard, of Christiansburg; nine grandchildren, Cindy, Sarah, Cassie, Chris, Michelle, Christy, Augie, Scott and Daphne; and 14 greatgrandchildren, Hollie, Anna, Kathryn, Mileena, Nikki, Matthew, Christopher, Emma, Alicia, "Lil man," Junior, Nick, Brianna, and Billie. The family wishes to say a special thank you to Stacy, Angie, the nursing staff on the CCU Unit at New River Valley Medical Center, and also to a special friend, Jody Spicer, for their wonderful care. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. on Saturday, August 29, 2009, in the Merrimac Pentecostal Holiness Church with the Rev. Wayne Posten, the Rev. Butch Hutchinson, and the Rev. Randy Woolwine officiating. Interment will follow in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Christiansburg. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday evening, August 28, 2009, at the McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Drive, S.W., Blacksburg, Va.
