CRAIG, Eleanor Linkous, 82, of Roanoke, went home to be with the Lord, Wednesday, September 3, 2003. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward O. Craig; son, Harold Craig; and a brother, Earl U. Linkous. Mrs. Craig was a longtime member of Edgewood Christian Church. Surviving are her children, Ed Craig and wife, Jan of Newnan, Ga., Bill Craig and wife, Kathy of Hardy, Dee Craig and wife, Annie of Lakeworth, Fla., Nita Serdich and husband, Joe of Fincastle, Sherry Rucker and husband, Jim of Cedar Hill, Texas; seventeen grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; brothers, Leo Linkous, Roanoke, Don Linkous, Dublin. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Monday, September 8, 2003, at Simpson-Tharp Funeral Home, 5160 Peters Creek Road, by Mr. Larry Atkin. Interment will follow in Old Dominion Memorial Gardens.
