Mrs. Herman Bratz – Mrs. Helen List Bratz, aged 74 years, wife of Herman Bratz, one of the well know and highly esteemed women of the city, died this morning at 1:15 at the family home, 812 Butler avenue after a brief illness. Mrs. Bratz was born in Germany, October 15, 1847, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Godfrey List and had been a resident of t his city for the past 32 years. She was a member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran church and the Protected Home Circle. Besides her husband she is survived by one daughter Mrs. Lewis Higgins, and four sons, Frank, Charles, William and Herman Bratz all of this city; also one brother, William List, of Hillsville, and three sisters, Mrs. Louisa Pankratz of Franklin, Pa, Mrs. Julius Batch* and Mrs. William Norwalk** of New Castle. Funeral services will be held Monday, October 9 at 2:30 p.m. from the residence on Butler Avenue. Interment will be made in Greenwood Cemetery. *Bartsch **Nowalk
