Mrs. Barbara Ballering, 87, mother of Mrs. Erhart Lohneis died Thursday at the home of her daughter. An injury to her hip, received in a fall last spring, eventually brought on her death.
Mrs. Ballering, the former Barbara List, was born May 26, 1850 at Grafton. For a long period she lived in Milwaukee.
Surviving, besides Mrs. Lohneis are three daughters, Mrs. C. Mayfield, Madison, Mrs. George Dunkle, Medford, and Isabell, Kenosha; four sons, Anton, Hartford, Theodore, Leo and John, Milwaukee and 27 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 9 a.m. at the Krebs Funeral Home and at 9:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church. The Rev. G. A. Haesler will officate. Burial will be made in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
