CARIBOU - Mrs. Grace Ellen Anderson, 88, wife of the late Simeon E. Anderson, died March 12, 1982, at her residence in Woodland after a long illness. She was born in Caribou, June 8, 1893, teh daughter of John and Elizabeth (Searles) Little. Mrs. Anderson was a membner of the Caribou Pentecostal Assembly of God. She is survived by six sons, Earl Anderson, Ernest Anderson, and Merrill Anderson, all of Caribou, Chester Anderson of Deland, Fla., Gilbert Anderson of Prospect, Conn., and Simeon E. Anderson Jr. of South Berwick; seven daughters, Mrs. Ervin (Levercie) Gamblin and Mrs. William (Marrietta) Sullivan Jr., both of Woodland, Mrs. Henry (Ethyl) Nutting of Perham, Mrs. Darrah (Gertrude) York and Mrs. Donald (Elizabeth) Tibbetts, both of Millinocket, Mrs. Clinton (Lulu) Dyer of West Buxton and Mrs. George (Zelda) wilcox of Westbrook; 44 grandchildren, 114 great-grandchildren and 22 great-great-grandchildren. Friends may call at the Mockler funeral Home 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Monday, March 15, at the Caribou Assembly of God, Sweden St., with the Rev. Harold Beesley officiating. Spring interment will take place in teh Woodland Cemetery, Woodland.
