William and Mary Ann were charter members of the Poland United Methodist Church and William was the contractor for the first two buildings. The Logans resided is what is now known as Logan Place, 320 N. Main Street, Poland, Ohio. The sons and sons-in-law served in the Civil War.

Their first three children (Eliza, Homer, and Horatio) are actually buried in the Poland Presbyterian Cemetery.
Probate records show cause of death was "pleurisy"

Click on photo for enlarged image. Another son Albert B. is buried in Sunset Hills Cem., Warrensburg, Mo.. He married Phoebe Ellen Cress. Albert was born in 1842 and died in 1907.
