Rev. Logan was born July 11, 1939, in Warren, a son of Harold T. and Georgia Hall Logan Sr.
He retired from Federal Wholesale in 2000, after 45 years of service. He was also formerly employed with Kaleel Brothers Trucking Company. He was a graduate of the Baptist Theological Institute in Youngstown.
Rev. Logan was the current Pastor of the Beulah Baptist Church, where he had been serving since June 30, 1998. Under his leadership, the church was well known for its food giveaway program. In addition to his pastoral duties, he helped organize the Community of Faith Credit Union, where he also served as its Chaplain. He was Chaplain of the Baptist Pastors' Council, an active member of the Interdenominational Ministerial Alliance, and a member of the Shenango Valley District Baptist Association.
Rev. Logan enjoyed helping his community and working with the Board of Education.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife, Brenda Traylor Logan, whom he married Oct. 5, 1974; a son, Andre Logan of Richmond, Va.; three daughters, Kim Logan of Richmond, Krisla Logan-Wiley of Columbus and Tonya Traylor of Streetsboro; a brother, George (Bonnie) Logan of Warren; two sisters, Janice Logan-Freeman of Columbus and Delores Logan of Warren; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a host of dear relatives and close friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Kevin Logan; and a brother, Charles King.
Interment will be at Tod Homestead Cemetery.
