She was born in Chatham, OH on December 23, 1922 to Matthew and Doris Cleveland Logan and was a 1940 graduate of Spencer High School.
Mrs. Butcher was a lifetime resident of Spencer and had worked as a teller for 22 years at the Farmers Savings Bank in Spencer.
She was a member of the Spencer United Methodist Church where she was active in the United Methodist Women, Spencer Pythian Sisters and Tuesday Morning Group. She had
