Elsie A. Baldwin (nee Logan), 78, of LaGrange and formerly of Amherst went home to be with the Lord Friday, July 6, 2012. She was born December 6, 1933 in Spencer, Ohio.
Elsie was a dedicated member of Cross Community Church in Elyria for many years. She worked for Ford Motor Company, Local 425, in Lorain for 25 years. She enjoyed gardening, cats and dogs, collecting dolls, and crafts.
Mrs. Baldwin is survived by her children Jeanette Kenska-Wahl (Douglas), James Berman (Renee), and Sharon Ellis (Richard); step-mother of Glen Baldwin (Linda), Harley Baldwin (Carolyn), Tami Wilbanks (Glen); grandmother of 11 and many great-grandchildren; brothers Lee and Norman White.
She was preceded in death by her husband Clyde Baldwin (2000); parents Matthew and Doris (nee Cleveland) Logan; stepson Michael Baldwin; brothers Ben Logan and Matthew "Junior" Logan and sister Dorothy Butcher.
The family will receive friends 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, July 10 at Busch Funeral Home, 114 Second St., Elyria. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Cross Community Church, 525 Abbe Road, Elyria with Rev. Roger Loomis officiating. Burial will take place in Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon.
