Mrs. Philomena Lombardi, 78, of 30 Pomeroy Street died this morning, April 9, at Cortland County Hospital after a three-month illness. She was the widow of Liberty Lombardi. Mrs. Lombardi was born in Italy in September, 1872, the daughter of Rose and Andrew Bisaccio.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Rose Bisaccia of Cortland; a sister, Mrs. Angeline Canestaro of Cortland; two brothers, Michael Bisaccio of Brooklyn and Enrico Bisaccio of Montreal, Canada, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Friday at the home on Pomeroy Street and at 9:30 at St. Anthony’s Church. Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Friends may call at the late home at their convenience.
