Diane J Lombardi Alexander, 59, died Sunday, April 10, 2016 at Gosnell Memorial Hospice House, Scarborough.

Born in Skowhegan on June 11, 1956, Diane was the daughter of the late Howard Elwyn and Gloria Durgin Pendexter.

Throughout her life, Diane worked for several retail stores of which she was very proud. She worked for the Dollar Tree on St. John’s Street where she enjoyed meeting and interacting with people. Her primary job, however, was as being a loving and caring mother and nana. Family was very important to Diane. She always made sure her family sat down together for dinner. This small act was one of the many ways she showed her love for her family. Above all else, spending time with her family was her single greatest joy in life.

Diane had a wonderful sense of humor and enjoyed music, camping (except for the clean up afterwards), shopping, and yard sales.

In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by stepfather, Franklin Weeman, her sisters, Sharon and Gail.

She is survived by her children: Vincent Lombardi, II of Portland, Frank Lombardi and wife Katie of Saco, Sebastian Lombardi and wife Maria of Jay, Lucia Lombardi of Portland and Cody Alexander of South Portland; 12 grandchildren; and the love of her life, Vincent Lombardi, Sr. of Portland. Diane is also survived by her siblings: Mahlon of Westbrook, Cindy of Westbrook and Debbie of FL.
