She was born January 8, 1913 in St. Louis, the daughter of Raffaele and Rosaria Grippe Lombardi. She attended St. Louis schools. On January 2, 1936 Geraldine was united in marriage in St. Louis to Steve Aiello, who preceded her in death in 1983.
Geraldine was a family minded wife and mother, and had been a beautician and seamstress. She was a member of the Catholic faith. She took great pride and pleasure in being an excellent cook and loved taking care of animals. Geraldine had a strong bond with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Survivors include two sons: Joseph Aiello and wife Linda of Missouri City, Texas, Steve Aiello and wife Anita of Jefferson City; seven grandchildren, five great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Alex and Joe Lombardi, and a sister, Angela Harland.
