Frances Long Donnelly, 86, passed away Wednesday, December 3, 2014.

A celebration of her life will be held at graveside at 3:00 p.m., Monday, December 8, 2014 at Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Cile Mitchell officiating. The family will meet friends from 2:00 p.m. to service time on Monday at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home.

They ask that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to Bloomfield United Methodist Church, 5511 Bloomfield Road, Macon 31206.

Mrs. Donnelly, wife of the late George C. Donnelly, Jr., was born in Americus the daughter of the late Grady A. and Jewel Gill Long. She studied voice and earned an Associate Degree from Georgia Southwestern State University, Americus. Mrs. Donnelly was an avid Bridge and Solitaire Player. She was a Charter Member of Bloomfield United Methodist Church where she was active with the Busy Bees, the Golden Rule Sunday School Class, the Clothes Closet and as a loyal member of the Church Choir.

Mrs. Donnelly was preceded in death by her sister, Marjorie Long Pearce and her brother, Emmitt Long.

Survivors include her devoted family, her niece, Debbie Pearce (Jerry) Lynn of Carrollton, her nephew, Gerral (Susan) Pearce of Forsyth, niece, Lynn (Jerry) Hogg of Lizella; her great nieces, Katie Lynn (Jason) Tucker of Carrolton and April Pearce of Whitesburg; several great-great nieces and nephews.

Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery has charge of arrangements.
