Charles E. Long Dies in Hospital
Funeral services for Charles Elliott Long of 2585 Rock St., who died yesterday in a local hospital will be held at 4:30pm today in the chapel of Hart's Mortuary.
The Rev. S. La Vaughn Foster and the Rev. Carroll Crosby will officiate and burial will be in Macon Memorial Park.
Mr. Long, a retired employee of the Bibb Manufacturing Company, was born in Laurens County, the son of J. C. Long anf Mrs. Dora Taylor Long, and had lived in Macon since 1933, coming here from Dublin. He was a member of the Lynmore Methodist Church, a steward of the church, a member of the men's club, and the Mickey Fuller Masonic Lodge.
