Victoria (Vicky) Bettencourt passed away peacefully Sunday morning at her home that she had resided in for the past fifty years. She was born in Turlock and settled in the Hilmar area in the late 1950's. She and her husband Manuel began a family dairy where they raised their five children. Victoria was very passionate about watching her large collection of movies and enjoyed the long conversations she had daily with her close group of friends.

She is survived by her five children, sons Norman, Marlin and Mark Bettencourt, daughters Yvonne Dyrland and Linda Parmley, 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She was proceeded in death by her husband Manuel Bettencourt.

Mrs. Bettencourtwas an active member in the community, belonging to Native Daughters of Golden West #220, S.E.S Council #18, Turlock Pentecost Association, Hilmar Grange and the Holy Rosary Catholic Church of Hilmar. She was also a charter member of the St. Patrick's Y.L.I.

A viewing will be held Monday, March 24th from 1-8 p.m. at Allen Mortuary. Services will be held Tuesday, March 25th at 10 a.m. at Allen Mortuary with burial to follow at Hilmar Cemetery.
