Leah died June 21, 1970 and is buried with her husband in Hamilton, Ohio.

Said that the Lowrys had deafness in the family...Lafayette, and daughter Leah were deaf.
Clara gave me a newspaper article where when her mother Harriett was 85 years old (1968) she was hit by a truck in front of their home. She suffered head cuts, a fractured right ankle, multiple cuts and bruises.
