Mrs. Nan Ramsey Loyall, 78, widow of W. H. T. Loyall and daughter of Carl Gustav and Mrs. Alice Corner Ramsey, died yesterday at 6:09 a.m. at the residence, 101 64th Street, Virginia Beach.

A native of Long Island, NY, she had been a resident of Norfolk and Virginia Beach for many years. She was a member of Christ & St. Luke’s Church.

Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. James B. McCaw Jr.; two grandchildren, James B. McCaw III, and Anne McCaw, of Virginia Beach, and one sister, Mrs. H. Gilbert Leigh, of Norfolk.

Funeral services will be conducted at th H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments today at 4:30 p.m. by the Rt. Rev. William A. Brown, retired bishop of the episcopal Diocese of Southern Virginia. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
