Mrs. Sarah E. Loyall died at the residence of her son, 1210 Porter Street, yesterday morning at 2 o'clock.
Mrs. Loyall had been sick for a long time, and she bore her suffering with a Christian patience. She had received a longer number of years than befall most people, having lived her three score and ten. She was born in Hanover County in 1827.
Mrs. Loyal has been living with her son, Captain A. C. Attkisson, the Commonwealth's Attorney of Manchester, for the past five years, and she breathed her last at his home.
Mrs. Loyall has been a consistent member o the Baptist church for over half a century, and at the present time her name is enrolled with the members of the Second Baptist church in Richmond.
She has only two relatives that are living, her son, Captain A. C. Attkisson, and her granddaughter, Mrs. Gustave Peple.
