Died at her home. Daughter to William and Edith (Powers) Kneebone. At the age of 3, she moved with her family to Long Beach, CA, where she received her early education at local schools. On Sept. 10, 1945, she married Jess Lozada in Twin Falls, ID, where they made their home for the next two years. Then they moved to the San Diego - National City area of California. In 1948 the couple moved to the Scholls area, then back to California for a short time before returning to Scholls in 1955. The couple made their home in Newberg in 1968, where they have since resided. She worked for three years at GAF (Viewmaster) in Beaverton as a shipping clerk. In the 1960s, she served on the Altar Society and was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church in Sherwood; she was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church in Newberg. She was the past president of the Groner Ladies Club in Scholls in the late 1950s. She enjoyed fishing, gardening, cooking, wildlife and her pet dogs and birds. She was instrumental in preserving watershed and wildlife lands in the Breitenbush area and family members said she helped raise her grandchildren. Survivors include: husband Jess of Newberg; son Randy of San Jose, CA; daughter Terry Lozada-Peterson of Beaverton; numerous nieces and nephews; 11 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by sons, Everett and Donald, daughter Carla Lozada, and one sister.
