Joy was a 1950 graduate of Kokomo High School. She was a bookkeeper and office manager for the Anderson Miller Construction Company and had worked for the Kokomo Housing Authority. Joy loved to care for her children and grandchildren.
Joy is survived by her children, Marc (Sherri) Anderson, Kokomo, Scott Anderson (Romeo Castillo), Vallejo, CA, John (Nancy) Anderson, Kokomo, and Paul (Suzi) Anderson, Kokomo; grandchildren, Eva Anderson, Katie Anderson, Michael (Angela) Anderson, Diana (Lucas) Jones, Kathleen Anderson, Alex Anderson; great grandchildren, Samuel Jones, Jonah Jones, Norah Jones, Piper Anderson, Thomas Anderson; sister-in-law, Maureen Ludlow, Kokomo, and she had recently had the good fortune to meet a part of her biological family, a half-sister.
Joy is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Phillip H. Anderson, and brother, James Ludlow.
In keeping with Joy’s wishes, there will be no scheduled services.
