Mary Lynn Alfrey, 59, of Springdale, Arkansas, died Tuesday, April 28, 2015, at Washington Regional Hospital.
Mary was born March 29, 1956 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the daughter of George Ludlow and Margaret Beadle Ludlow.

She was a 1974 graduate of Cedar Rapids Washington High School in Iowa. She went on to earn her Marketing and Finance degree from the University of Iowa in 1978.

Mary served as Executive Director of the Susan G. Komen Ozark Affiliate in Springdale, Arkansas. She was an active member of her community and served on many organizations throughout her life.

She was preceded in death by her father, George Ludlow.

Survivors include her daughters, Jennifer DenHartog and her husband Kyle of Waterloo, Iowa, and Kayla Alfrey of Little Rock, Arkansas; mother, Margaret Ludlow of Marion, Iowa; sister, Susan Fischer and her husband Craig of Leawood, Kansas.

The family will greet friends from 5:00 p. m. to 7:00 p. m. Friday, May 1, 2015 at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home 4520 North Crossover Road, Fayetteville, Arkansas.
A memorial service will be at 10:00 a. m. Saturday, May 2, 2015, at Central United Methodist Church, 6 East Dickson Street, Fayetteville, by Pastor Dr. John C. Robbins.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date in Cedar Falls, Iowa.
