Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at First German Evangelical
Lutheran Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. N.W. Kock will officiate and burial will be
in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Mahnke, nee Ranetta B. Plautz, was born April 3, 1903, at Powers, Mich.,
daugher of the late Theodore and Molly Gaedtke Plautz. She was married to Arthur
Mahnke Sept. 16, 1925, at Manitowoc. Mrs. Mahnke was a member of the Ladies Aid
Society of First German Evangelical Lutheran Church.
Survivors include her husband, a brother, Walter, of Manitowoc, two sisters,
Mrs. Albert Wiesner of Manitowoc and Mrs. William Suffran of Plymouth, and
several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc, from 4 to 9 p.m.
Wednesday until noon Thursday and then at the church until the time of service.
