Mrs. Anna Milman, 94, former Manitowoc resident who had been making her home
with her daughter in Highland Park, Ill., for the past three years, died at a
hospital there Saturday morning after a brief illness.
Funeral services will be at 8:30 a.m. Monday at the Mittnacht Funeral Home,
Manitowoc, and at 9 a.m. at Holy Innocents Catholic Church, the Rev. E.A. Radey
officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Millman was born on May 12, 1882, in Copenhagen, Denmark, and came to this
country with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Albertson, when she was 10 years
old. The family settled in Racine. In 1881 she was married to William P. Milman,
and the couple lived in Racine until 1903, when they moved to Lake Geneva. They
moved to Manitowoc in 1925. Her husband who died about 10 years ago, was a
marine engineer on Great Lake boats.
Surviving are her daughter, Mrs. I.W. Whitaker of Highland Park; a son, A.W.
Milman of Manitowoc; a sister, Mrs. Frederick Andreason of Racine; two grand-
children; five great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
Friends may call from 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home where the Rosary will
be recited at 2:30 p.m.
