CLOVIS, N.M. - Roberta "Bert" Fitzgerald, 80, died Tuesday, Jan. 19, 2010.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in 16th and Pile Church of Christ with Jim Gammon officiating. Burial will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Mission Garden of Memories by Muffley Funeral Home.
Mrs. Fitzgerald was born Jan. 12, 1930, to William Elbert and Velma Rene Lambert Madding in Childress, Texas. She married Leonard Fitzgerald on Sept. 18, 1948, in Canyon, Texas.
Survivors include four children, Virginia Sue Potter of Clovis, Judy Kay Folden of Pittsburg, Texas, David Fitzgerald of Hereford, Texas, and Angela Harrell of Amarillo, Texas; two grandsons; five granddaughters; two great-grandsons; and a great-great-granddaughter.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be to Roberta Fitzgerald Memorial Fund, in care of Terry Potter, 320 W. Christopher Drive, Clovis, NM 88101.
